Welcome to FS2
Mrs Lamb's and Mrs Mabbott's Moles
MEET THE TEAM
Monday 9th April - First day back
Tuesday 17th April - Parent mornings start
30th April - eggs and incubator delivered
15th May - visit to Manor Farm
25th May - School closes for half term holiday
Our new topic is ...
Who lives on Old MacDonald's Farm?
We shall be asking the questions.....
What animals do you know that live on a farm?
Do all farm animals look the same?
What are baby farm animals called?
Do all animals hatch from eggs?
What food do we get from farm animals?
What are farm animals homes called?
The children really enjoy this topic about farms and farm animals, especially as the topic culminates in a visit to a real farm and the possibility of seeing some farm animals first hand. There are lots of opportunities for speaking and listening as we discuss the farm animals we know and also learn about which animals hatch from eggs. The most exciting event will be the delivery of our eggs and incubator and waiting with baited breath as the chicks begin to hatch!
