Chinese New Year Celebrations.
All of our Nursery children enjoyed a day with Ling Peng, a Chinese artist and storyteller. They had a wonderful time making dragon heads, in preparation for their dragon dancing later in the week.
They had beautiful costumes to wear and ran a Chinese takeaway in their role play area, it was magical.
Our Reception children also celebrated by making auspicious fish, dragons and the highlight of the day, trying Chinese food. The whole school smelt gorgeous.
In the year of the goat, we wish everyone a happy new year.
