Forest E Witcraft wrote, ' a hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove..... but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.' Here at Longmoor our children understand that they can help.
Every class made Christmas decorations, biscuits, sweet treats and 'Stop Here Santa' signs. There were also games to play with prizes to win.
The children from the Enterprise Group helped Miss Smith organise the afternoon.
It was fantastic fun and has raised money to help support The Footprints Orphanage out in Kenya.
Watch this space for what the total raised is. I wonder what Footprints will use our donation for in 2015!
