Year 4 Futsal Competition.
On Wednesday the 4th of November, Mr Roper took a six Year 4 children to a 5 a-side Futsal Competition against 4 other teams, Sawley, Ockbrook, Cloudside and Chaucer, at Long Eaton School.
We had a great start to the competition and won the first game against Ockbrook 3 – 0. Kenyian scored 2 and Kairell got the third.
Our second game was a close 2-2 draw against Chaucer, with goals coming from Kairell and a Daniel.
Unfortunately, we lost our third game against Sawley 2-1, after going a goal ahead, scored by Daniel. The team faced a hard challenge in the last and extremely close game against Cloudside. The team pulled through by winning 1-0, the goal scored by Kairell.
Longmoor finished with the same number of points as Sawley, however, goal difference pushed us up into second place!
A big well done to Kenyian, Lawrence, Ruben, Ashton, Kairell, Daniel!
