To Mr Roper's Rhinos

Meet the Team

Welcome to Year 3's web page. My name is Mr Roper and I am extremely looking forward to another year at Longmoor. I can't believe that this is now my third year here; time flies when you're having fun! For the children this is their first year in the Juniors but I know they are ready to challenge themselves to be the best that they can be as Year 3's. I'm really excited about this year as we have some fantastic topics lined up, including the Ancient Greeks, the Normans, a local study on Nottingham and Long Eaton and learning all about the River Trent. In Science, we will be learning about Magnets and Forces, Electricity, State of Matter, the Water Cycle and what happens to food from eating it to... well, we'll find out!

Keep up to date with the latest events!
