Nursery
Hello and welcome to our Nursery class page!
Every class in school is named after an endangered animal and we are the Penguin Class.
Our class teacher is Miss Taylor. Our morning TA is Mrs Wright and our afternoon TA is Miss Treece. Mrs Chibbaro teaches us on a Friday. Miss Fionda and Mrs Brier also work with us for three sessions a week.
Our topic for this half-term is 'How will I find my way around?'
This term, we will be learning all about the world around us. We will be learning all about the world around us. If anyone has any holiday/travel photos of your child, we would love for you to send these in via dojo. We have some very exciting opportunities planned, including a treasure hunt. We will also be developing our understanding of growth, decay and changes over time.
IMPORTANT DATES
22nd April - Earth Day 2025. Learning about recycling through play/books.
5th May – Bank Holiday (school closed)
W.C. 5th May -Deaf Awareness Week. We will be learning a new sign each day.
6th May - Wow Walk. We will be going on a treasure hunt around school.
16th May - Endangered Species Day. Dress in black and white like a penguin.
12th May – 12th June. National Smile Month. Dentist Visit.
20th May - World Bee Day
21st May - National Numeracy Day
23rd May – Last Day of Term.
