Longmoor Primary School

Lifelong Learners

Welcome

ALFRED THE GREAT (Miss Mills and Mr Gallen Y4)

Hello and welcome to Year 4 Alfred The Great class! We have so many exciting topics and lots of fun learning ahead of us - we can't wait!

Meet the teachers!

Miss Mills

Hello! My name is Miss Mills and I have been a teacher at Longmoor Primary School for nine years now! I absolutely love teaching and believe that all children can achieve anything they dream of with lots of hard work, laughter, kindness and determination! My favourite subjects to teach are Literacy and P.E.

I am so excited for our learning journey this year and we have so many interesting topics to study including the Romans, Sound and the Mayans! When I'm not in school, I like to spend time with my little girl and see my friends. I love going on long walks and my favourite place to be is by the sea – especially in Cornwall.  My favourite animals are elephants and my favourite food is pizza.

WHISPER - Anonymous Reporting Tool

Sometimes it is really hard to tell an adult if you feel like you are being bullied. That is why we have subscribed to WHISPER. It is an anonymous reporting tool which allows you or your child to report any incidents of bullying and cyber bullying in confidence.

Click on the web link below to fill in a report. It will then be emailed to Miss Hughes (Online Safety Coordinator). Messages are checked as often as possible. In order to resolve issues effectively and promptly, please include your name. This will be kept in the strictest of confidence.

If you have any concerns or worries about your child regarding online safety and would like further advice, please contact Miss Hughes or Mr Lyons, the school's online safety co-ordinators or speak to Mrs Dainty, Headteacher.
