BRONTOSAURUS (Mr Teague)

If your child is off with COVID and is isolating, please find the activities for each week below for them to do as part of their home learning.

Hello and welcome to Year 6! We have a very exciting and challenging year ahead, with lots of amazing things planned! With lots of hard work, determination and smiles, we will have a fun and successful year ahead of us!

Brontosaurus Staff

My name is Mr Teague and and I am the new Year 6 teacher here at Longmoor Primary School. In our class we also have Mrs Leek in the mornings and Miss Byatt in the afternoons helping us out. The children will be taught by Miss Hughes and Mr Green on a Thursday afternoon as well! This will be my first year teaching at Longmoor here and I am so excited to be teaching Year 6. We will be studying a variety of interesting topics this year such as: WWII, The Vikings and the Mayans. In Science, we will be looking at the classification of animals, the circulatory system and evolution.

WHISPER - Anonymous Reporting Tool

Sometimes it is really hard to tell an adult if you feel like you are being bullied. That is why we have subscribed to WHISPER. It is an anonymous reporting tool which allows you or your child to report any incidents of bullying and cyber bullying in confidence.

Click on the web link below to fill in a report. It will then be emailed to Miss Hughes (Online Safety Coordinator). Messages are checked as often as possible. In order to resolve issues effectively and promptly, please include your name. This will be kept in the strictest of confidence.

If you have any concerns or worries about your child regarding online safety and would like further advice, please contact Miss Hughes or Mr Lyons, the school's online safety co-ordinators or speak to Mrs Dainty, Headteacher.
