Longmoor Primary School

Lifelong Learners

Welcome

Head Boys and Head Girls

Hello, my name is Jayden and I’m 10 years old and I’m in Miss Wood’s class aka Florence Nightingale’s.

I love to play football and basketball in my spare time. My favourite positions in football are a midfielder and goalkeeper.

My favourite subjects at school are Art, PE and Maths. I love PE because it’s great to be outside in the fresh air. Art is one of my other favourite subjects and I like this subject because it allows me to express my feelings.

My role as head boy is to greet visitors with a friendly smile and show them around our fantastic school. I will also be helping with some assemblies and events.

I have a rabbit, a dog, a cat and a bearded dragon. I enjoy playing on my PlayStation especially Minecraft. I am a good listener and will always try my best where I can.

Hello, my name is Poppy and I’m 11 years old and I’m in Miss Wood’s class aka Winston Churchill’s.

I love to swim, dance and do gymnastics but my favourite of all of them is to go swimming.

My favourite subjects at school are maths, literacy, art, science and topic because they are fun, exciting and you always learn something new.

My role as head girl is to help the adults in school with different tasks, help teachers more frequently and to show visitors and new teachers around school.

In my life time, I have had four frogs, thirty fish (maybe more than that), four guinea pigs (Parker, Dobby, Ruby and Burney), two hamsters (Bob and Nipper), two cats (Henry and Denzel) and a Plecostomus. Altogether, I have had at least forty-three animals!

Hello, my name is Thomas and I’m 11 years old and I’m in Miss Layland’s class aka Winston Churchill’s.

I love to play football and cricket in my spare time. I love to game too!

My favourite subject at school is maths because you get to learn different ways of finding stuff out.

My role as head boy is to help Mrs Dainty, the headteacher, with visitors and to set a good example for children who are younger than me.

I have one brother and one sister.

Hello, my name is Siena and I’m 11 years old and I’m in Miss Layland’s class aka Winston Churchill’s.

I love to play football: I am a goalkeeper and I play for Derby RTC.

My favourite subjects at school are Maths, PE and Science.

My role as head girl is to represent Longmoor Primary School and to make sure that everyone is behaving well.
