KS2 Quiz Team
Miss Hughes and Mrs Dainty were very pleased to take the Longmoor KS2 quiz team to the Area Quiz Team Championship on Thursday 23rd February 2017. Seven teams were entered by their primary schools with the event taking place at Gayton Community School, Littleover, Derby. Eleanor (Y3) Holly (Y4) Gabriella (Y5) and Lily (Y6) worked superbly together as a team. It was nail-biting stuff especially as some of the questions were really tricky! They each had hand-held remote controls to input their answers into the super computer. Several times during the quiz, Longmoor were in first place but after a tough few final questions, the team fought hard to be rewarded with third place! Well done! You were well behaved and a pleasure to take out of school for the afternoon.
