Rushcliffe Country Park June 2015
What a lovely day we all had at Rushcliffe Country Park. The weather was fantastic, the children behaved wonderfully and we all enjoyed going on the adventure playground, the miniature railway, visiting the Heritage Centre, and then Mr Bunhejee’s class enjoyed Den Building with our Park Ranger, Alistair.
Mrs Parson’s class enjoyed a ranger led session of pond dipping. The children caught and handled a variety of creatures including snails, frogs and newts.
Mrs Clayton’s class participated in a minibeast hunt in the woods. Under various logs they found 28 different creatures and studied them closely through magnifying viewers.
Thank you to all the children and adults for their help during the day. It was fantastic.
