Travel Smart Assembly
Rob Bounds (Senior Transport Officer for DCC) visited school ,on Friday 10th June, to tell all of the children about travelling safely to school. He lead a fantastic assembly, getting staff and children involved.
There were all sorts of weird and wonderful dinosaurs, from the Walkosarus Max, the Velocer-scooter, Pedalosaur, Carshare-alots, Trike-ceratops to the huge Busodon. You can imagine the amusement of the children.

It is Travel Smart Week from 13th - 17th June, so think about how you travel to school.
The ECO Committee ran a competition to show how you can travel to school being friendly to the environment. They judged all entries and winners were awarded a pack of jelly snakes (no artificial additives or colours).
The serious message, of course is, think how you travel and stay safe.
