Lifelong Learners

Welcome

World Book Day

World Book Day 5th March 2015.

We had lots of fun today reading and listening to stories. There was a book quiz for KS2 children and a competition for KS1 to design a book mark.

At lunch times this week all of the staff have been running story sessions, so that everyone could listen to new stories or even enjoy a favourite story from the past. It was wonderful to see the children's love of books.

After lunch the whole school had a readathon.

Don't forget to spend your vouchers, all of the local supermarkets have lots of books that you can enjoy.

In KS2, if your child reads regularly at home they can come along to my office and choose a book as a reward.

Reading is a lifelong skill, the more you read -  the better you get.

So keep reading!
