Year 3 and 4 Football Tournament.
On the afternoon of Thursday 22nd of October, Mr Roper took a team of Year 3 and Year 4 children to participate in a football tournament held at Wilsthorpe School. The children competed against 3 other teams: Grange, English Martyrs, and Harrington. Each game lasted ten minutes. Unfortunately, the team lost the first game 4-0 but the score line was not a true reflection of the effort the players put in. The children put their first game nerves behind them for the next two games and dominated both. The team was unlucky not to score and drew both games 0-0. Well done to Lawrence, Ruben, Ashton, Kairell, Daniel, Kenyian, Gabrielle and Paige from Year 4 and Logan, Archie and Dylan from Year 3 who played extremely well and did a brilliant job of representing the school. Thank you to Mrs. Tuck, Mr. Taylor, Mr. Booth and Mr. Wenham for their help and support walking children to and from the event, without which the children would not have been able to attend.
