Reception
Hello and welcome to our Reception class page! We are looking forward to playing, teaching and learning with the children this year. We know we will have lots of fun! Reception have fun-filled topics planned, including their exploring their own family and home experiences, different celebrations, seasonal changes and much more! These will include lots of WOW experiences to enrich the learning.

Our Summer 2 topic has a focus on holidays, ocean/sea creatures and pollution: 'Why do we like to be beside the seaside?'
We will be exploring this changing season, developing our knowledge of the natural world by exploring the ocean as a habitat for sea creatures, the impact of plastic pollution and how we can all help our environment. We will also be learning about different parts of the world and compare the similarities and differences to where we live too.
We will finish our reception year together by visiting Conkers together!
