Hello and welcome to our Reception class page! We are looking forward to playing, teaching and learning with the children this year. We know we will have lots of fun! Reception have fun-filled topics planned, including their exploring their own family and home experiences, different celebrations, seasonal changes and much more! These will include lots of WOW experiences to enrich the learning.

Our Autumn 2 topic is 'Why do people celebrate?'

As we continue to settle our children into Reception life, we will be learning all about how and why people celebrate, including Bonfire Night, Diwali, Remembrance Day and Christmas. The children will be busy exploring and discovering a range of exciting activities both in and out of the classroom, making new friendships, listening to stories and developing their understanding of the wider world around them.
