Hello, welcome to our class page! I'm really looking forward to another year of teaching the year 3 curriculum and guiding you through your first experience of being in key stage two! I know that 2020 has been a strange year but I am super excited to welcome you all back into school. I don't want you to worry about being back at Longmoor and I promise I will do all that I can to make sure you feel safe in your new class.
I have been teaching at Longmoor Primary School for three years now and it always feels like a home from home.
Aside from my love of teaching, I love to spend my time with family and friends. I enjoy trips to the park and muddy walks in the countryside with my two little boys. Also, there is nothing better than going for a nice cream tea after all that fresh air and running around!
I hope you all ready for a jam-packed year of exciting learning!
This half term we will start our history topic on: Who first lived in Britain?
We will also begin our science learning on: How far can you throw your shadow?

WHISPER - Anonymous Reporting Tool
Sometimes it is really hard to tell an adult if you feel like you are being bullied. That is why we have subscribed to WHISPER. It is an anonymous reporting tool which allows you or your child to report any incidents of bullying and cyber bullying in confidence.
Click on the web link below to fill in a report. It will then be emailed to Miss Hughes (Online Safety Coordinator). Messages are checked as often as possible. In order to resolve issues effectively and promptly, please include your name. This will be kept in the strictest of confidence.
If you have any concerns or worries about your child regarding online safety and would like further advice, please contact Miss Hughes or Mr Lyons, the school's online safety co-ordinators or speak to Mrs Dainty, Headteacher.
