Lifelong Learners

Meet the Spinosaurus Team

Hello! Welcome to Year 5! I am Miss Wood and I teach the Spinosaurus Class at Longmoor Primary School.

This is my second year teaching at Longmoor and I'm very excited about the year ahead!

We are going to be covering lots of fun-filled topics such as WW2, the Anglo-Saxons, Brazil, Rainforests and the Ancient Egyptians.

I know that times have been strange over the past year but I want to assure you that I'll be here to answer any worries or concerns- I know this year is going be super!

Remote Learning:

If your child is learning remotely, work relating to the learning we are doing in class will be provided on Seesaw. Seesaw log-ins for each child were given out in the first Autumn half term; however, if you would like another copy of these details please let me know.

WHISPER - Anonymous Reporting Tool

Sometimes it is really hard to tell an adult if you feel like you are being bullied. That is why we have subscribed to WHISPER. It is an anonymous reporting tool which allows you or your child to report any incidents of bullying and cyber bullying in confidence.

Click on the web link below to fill in a report. It will then be emailed to Miss Hughes (Online Safety Coordinator). Messages are checked as often as possible. In order to resolve issues effectively and promptly, please include your name. This will be kept in the strictest of confidence.

If you have any concerns or worries about your child regarding online safety and would like further advice, please contact Miss Hughes or Mr Lyons, the school's online safety co-ordinators or speak to Mrs Dainty, Headteacher.
