TRICERATOPS (Mr Welbourne)

Triceratops Class

Hello, welcome to Year 3's, Mr Welbourne's Triceratops, class web page! I'm really looking forward to teaching in year 3 in my second year at Longmoor and guiding you through your first experience of being in key stage two!

I know that this past year has been a strange one but I am looking forward to welcoming you all back into school.

Spring 2 - Welcome back!

I hope you all had a well-deserved break doing lots of activities that make you smile and happy! Whether you were learning at home or at school, I was very proud of all of your hard work and efforts in these difficult and challenging times so well done! I can't wait until we are ALL back together in the classroom.

This half term will, once again, be full of exciting learning opportunities as we discover lots about the wonderful world that we live in.

Spring Half Term

I hope you all ready for our amazing topics this half term...I'm really looking forward to teaching them!

This half term we will start our Geography topic on: Why do so many people go to the Mediterranean for their summer holidays?

In our Science learning we will continue with discovering: What do rocks tell us about the way the Earth was formed?

WHISPER - Anonymous Reporting Tool

Sometimes it is really hard to tell an adult if you feel like you are being bullied. That is why we have subscribed to WHISPER. It is an anonymous reporting tool which allows you or your child to report any incidents of bullying and cyber bullying in confidence.

Click on the web link below to fill in a report. It will then be emailed to Miss Hughes (Online Safety Coordinator). Messages are checked as often as possible. In order to resolve issues effectively and promptly, please include your name. This will be kept in the strictest of confidence.

If you have any concerns or worries about your child regarding online safety and would like further advice, please contact Miss Hughes or Mr Lyons, the school's online safety co-ordinators or speak to Mrs Dainty, Headteacher.
