Homework

Homework has now been separated into optional and 'must-do' tasks, to help parents/carers fit homework into busy schedules!

 

Optional:

  • Nando's homework tasks.

 

'Must-dos'. These are tasks that can be easily slot into daily routines:

  • Spelling practice (either on Spelling Shed or any other way you choose).
  • Mathletics
  • TimesTable RockStars.
  • Reading to an adult. 

 

Literacy homework follows the new Nando's theme, which is optional! Children will be given a list of homework tasks at the start of each half term, and can choose as and when they complete any of the creative tasks (if they wish to). Work can be brought into school or posted on Seesaw and Dojo.

Maths at Home

Maths homework will be Mathletics tasks that link to the children's learning within school. Please let us know if you have any trouble logging on/accessing it at home.

Children should also be accessing TTRS daily - even 5-10 minutes a day will help them with their times-table recall. Please see the links below if you would like extra resources to use at home to help your child with their times-tables:
