Humanism
This term our R.E day focus was Humanism. This is the first atheist world view the children had learnt about and the children were all very excited and inquisitive about this life stance.
We began the day with an assembly with John Catt, a speaker from Humanist UK. He talked through Humanist beliefs, world views and theories.
Each class then had a Q&A session with John for them to explore Humanism in more depth.
