Bikeability
Bikeability.
Over the last two weeks many of our Year 6 children have been participating in Bikeability sessions. These involve working with coaches from the Erewash Sports Partnership to learn how to ensure your bike is road worthy, having confidence when cycling and most importantly learning the rules for cycling on the roads. This is important as the children are preparing for the next stage of their education, by transferring to secondary school.
The coaches were great, full of enthusiasm. They were thrilled with our children's positive attitudes and impressed with how hard they worked during the whole course.
The children showed great control and listened carefully when out and about in our locality. You can see how hard they were concentrating in the photographs.
A huge thank you goes to the coaches, who were excellent.
