At Longmoor we have high expectations of behaviour. We reward positive choices for pupils who chose to follow rules and set a high example to others through the use of Dojo points, stickers, certificates, reward treats such as small prizes and celebrate achievements with parents.
For those children that are not following the school rules we have a range of sanctions such as time out in other classrooms, losing some of lunchtime in Reflection or in severe cases suspensions. Each staff member use colour coded, smiley / sad face cards to remind children of expectations and to act as prompts to encourage children to make responsible and sensible adjustments to their behaviour where necessary.
