Lifelong Learners

Welcome

TUTANKHAMUN (Mr Slee Y3)

Welcome to Mr Slee's

 Class Page for Tutankhamun Class

Welcome to our Year 3 class page for Tutankhamun Class!

I'm really looking forward to the fun and exciting topics we have planned for the first year of juniors here at Longmoor. Our first Autumn half term includes learning about The Stone Age in our history lessons and how skeletons and muscles make our bodies move in science. This half term we will also be creating Prehistoric Art and starting to learn French (as I will too - I never did it at school!).

Meet The Team

My name is Mr Slee and I will be teaching the Tutankhamun class with support from my teaching assistant Miss Gee and Mrs Kirk. I love the outdoors and run the Forest Schools program here at Longmoor, so I am looking forward to developing our outside area and using it to bring lessons to life. Outside school I enjoy getting out and about as much as possible, whether that's messing about in the woods, climbing mountains or canoeing on the river, amongst many other things.

On Tuesdays, the class will be taught by Mr Bunhejee to allow me time to do Forest Schools with groups of children from other year groups.

WHISPER - Anonymous Reporting Tool

Sometimes it is really hard to tell an adult if you feel like you are being bullied. That is why we have subscribed to WHISPER. It is an anonymous reporting tool which allows you or your child to report any incidents of bullying and cyber bullying in confidence.

Click on the web link below to fill in a report. It will then be emailed to Miss Hughes (Online Safety Coordinator). Messages are checked as often as possible. In order to resolve issues effectively and promptly, please include your name. This will be kept in the strictest of confidence.

If you have any concerns or worries about your child regarding online safety and would like further advice, please contact Miss Hughes or Mr Lyons, the school's online safety co-ordinators or speak to Mrs Dainty, Headteacher.
