National Quiz Heat
Inter-School National Quiz Championship Heat At Gayton Primary, Littleover.
First we were shown into the hall in which our intellectual battle would take place. Dylan, Javelle, Gabriella and I were confident yet nervous. We then had to answer 30 questions, challenging our knowledge of Art, History, Music and many other topics.
At one point we were leading the competition, our families and Mrs Parsons cheering us on. Only to be knocked down to second place by a group of super brains. Then we faced the final round stocked full of difficult questions. At the end of the hour we finished in third place out of 10.
Afterwards we were then handed our certificates and we left with pride.
We were thrilled to have come third.
