The Big School Bird Watch.
Rosalind, from the RSPB came to work with the Year 3 and 4 children on Friday 8th January for 'The Big School Bird Watch'.
She talked to the children about the importance of protecting habitats and monitoring bird populations. They also discussed how healthy our population of mini beasts is as this affects how many birds live in our area.
The children also learned how to identify birds using keys.
All of the children learned a huge amount and enjoyed making feeder, drawing birds, using pastels and using the binoculars.
We look forward to welcoming the RSPB back again later in the year.
