On Friday 15th June the whole school was in preparation for our Diamond Jubilee Celebrations. The weather was unsettled, so a decision was made to hold our parties in the school hall.
Mrs Chambers and her team prepared special jubilee picnics and there was even an ice cream bar!
In total we had four street parties. Two in the Nursery, a Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 sitting.
It was great fun!
There was flag waving, party food and several of our Governors came along too. It was great to have then join us.
The Nursery had two street parties, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Great fun was had by all. There were hot dogs, ketchup, lots of it, and cakes and fruit. After these were gobbled up, there was dancing and games to play.
What a wonderful celebration of 60 years on the throne. Quite an achievement I think.
Well done everyone, it was day to remember.
